haluuu... the BJ38 DVD is in my hand already... got to study.. macam nak exam plak rasanya... having a bit difficulty on this release as Hip Hop is not the core.. me always looking forward for hip hop block in any of bj new releases.. this time around... latin and contemporary club... aiyak... a bit sneak preview on the moves and the song...
1. Say I - Christina MilanThe first song always the easiest one as it is a warmup track.... a lot of bodyparts isolation and BJ38 focusses more on shoulder and hip rolls... my mental is totally tortured as there are many arms movement which has to be synchronized with the hip rolls... need more practice on my co-ordination.
2. Disco Chick - Jazze Pha & Cee Lo Greenheh heh.. the song title explains everything... u can expect all the John Travolta's disco finger pointing action in this track... body wave with finger circle is so fun.. Ended with hip isolation... a bit bollywood pulak i rasa...
3. Ran Kan Kan - Tito Puente feat. Olga Tanon Latin track in Bodyjam has always amazed me with the song choice... never heard this song before... the beat and the moves are so 'jive'!!!!! merengue, mambo cha-cha and salsa all over the place... this is the hardest latin track i've ever done in the history of bodyjam =P merengue plus all the walks and the turns, really challenge my dance skills (skill yg ntah apa apa tuh...) being a part of NRSW Sol's team really helps =)
4. Rompe - Daddy YankeeYikes!! my favourite move is in da house!! hip roll hip roll hip roll hip roll hip roll while stomping and turning... the hands in and out and finale is the whipping... uuuu... kinky... again, having all the fun, it kinda a bit turn off when the turn is added... turn off, not bcoz the move is not nice but bcoz i cannot do the move =) come on leo... practice practice!!!
5. Turnin' Me On - Nina SkyTowards track 5, my back pain already... hiak! no new move added, but combination time... track 3 + track 4 = pening lalat...
6. Ran Kan Kan - Tito Puente feat. Olga Tanon Yup.. it is the same track as no 3.. 1st time it ever occured in Bodyjam format... not enuff with the pening lalat in track 5, they add one more, so called cute move after the merengue turn, called, slow hip with jump... ayak... more back pain... the BJ presenters did it so effortlessly... dengki betul... has some awesome latin drama poses in this track..
7. Lolita - PrinceTime to recover the back pain =) as usual, recovery track only has two combos... most of the time sexy moves... but this time around not as sexy as Rich Girl or Don't Cha... It's more to R&B Junkie kinda thing... easy lah the track... no headache... but still sometimes, struggle with hand and hip co-ordination...
8. Royal Gigolos - Self Controlhmmm.. the first minute, it feels like the Jazz Block... panic sekejap... me no good at jazz... but as you go, the moves kinda hip hop a bit... with a very sharp armlines (aiyo, still in lackness of ability to do it 'sharp'ly) co-ordination still plays a big issue... lots of turning oso... members will sure confuse one...
9. Temperature - Sean PaulThat's my kinda song!! Go Jam!! the moves are getting bigger and stronger... goes well with the beat... introduce the 2nd combo of this 2nd block... more to arms movements... grove n slice is the best...
10. Pink & Blue - OutkastThe first time i heard this music during the quarterly workshop, just reminded me of my old time in Uni where we learn all the ethnice moves from Sabah and Sarawak... the sound of the instrument so borneo... so does the moves.. like Burung Kenyalang... instead of Grove n Slice, now we have Sweep n Wave... hmm, got to do a lot of Bodybalance to get this move right =D
11. 1,2 Step - Ciara feat. Missy ElliotEvery release oso got Missy Elliot song... time to put all the moves togetherr... penin penin.. penat penat..
12. Say Say Say (waiting 4u) - Hi_TackStill with the full combo..... time to perform!!! hmmm... one more move... run run run and jump., and slow pose.. cehhhh...
13. Incredible - The ShapeshiftersWoohoooo... there it is... Contemporary Clubb Routine... finito... more performance... then you get more back pain...
14. Tusk -Fleetwood MacUdah le tuh... penat daah... time to cool down... dun like lah the moves... =(
See you guys at the launch!!!!
