Armand's meal planner - Week 1

If we fail to plan, meaning we are planning to fail... wahhhhh gituuuuuuuuu..... taking inspiration from BabyCentre (as usual), hereby i'm sharing my meal plan/ recipe for Armand... as my order for BabyCubes from LittleWhiz has not arrived yet, hehe... so this week, i make the food fresh everyday (or every 2 days). Feel free to try... :)

Puree Menu
Recipe
Saturday (1/10)
Carrot
Steam carrot (15 mins) and blend into puree. Add EBM to adjust the texture.
*Good source of Beta-carotene
Sunday (2/10)
Carrot
Monday (3/10)
Broccoli + Potato
Steam potato + broccoli together (20 mins). Blend both into puree. Add EBM to adjust texture.
*Beta-carotene, Iron and Vitamin C
Tuesday (4/10)
Broccoli + Potato
Wednesday (5/10)
Spinach + Sweet Potato
Steam potato (20mins). Steam spinach (5 mins). Blend both into puree. Add EBM to adjust texture.
*Beta-carotene, Iron and Vitamin C
Thursday (6/10)
Spinach + Sweet Potato
Friday (7/10)
Spinach + Sweet Potato

Steam/ blend processes solely using Philips Avent Steamer/ blender... wahhh.. promote jap okeh... any mommies out there who has different brand of food processor, do share your experience with us okay... :)

For the portion... only 2 tablespoon of puree, and once a day meal (morning) for the 1st week, following recommendation from docSanjay... he also reminded us to monitor Armand's poo-poo as solid may interferes his digestive system... as  per today, Armand still poos daily... good sign... but the texture became 'carrot-ty'.... ahahahah... from the carrot puree lorr... today, no poo yet... hopefully it won't turn green from the broccoli.. or else... scarrrrrrryyyyyyyyy............... we should be alert of any sign of perut keras and stools in his poo... i don't plan to introduce rice to him yet... maybe in 7-8 months of his age.. following with meaty stuff... so that, Armand's body can take the changes slow and steady...

  2. Hi elin... leo mmg tambah EBM in each meal... utk fruits, Armand ni ada highrisk utk asthma... org2 tua (parents and in-laws lah..ehehh) kata, kalo boleh elakkan mango n banana.. tapi sekali sekala ok kut kan.... nanti leo try and update k.. :) tq

  3. Hi ive been following your blog for quite sometime! And i know you fr those days u were a bodyjam instructor! Anyway, i am also using the Avent blender n steamer. Gotta second your comment... It's great and makes babyfood making very2 much easier n less hassle :)
